MRF May Update

On March 21, 2017 Megan Ekstrom, Vice-President, Government Affairs of the Motorcycle Riders Foundation sent a letter to Michael Griffith of the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA), Office of Safety. The letter was about the concerns the MRF has with the ten positions on the Motorcycle Advisory Council (MAC). Past Motorcycle Advisory Councils had four motorcycle associations represented out of the ten seats. read more...

If you have not heard, the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is moving ahead with selecting participants for the newly reestablished Motorcycle Advisory Council (MAC). MAC is being reestablished to allow motorcyclists the opportunity to discuss how we are affected by road design, barriers, construction, and also the emergence of intelligent transportation systems like driverless vehicles. read more...
